Europe, one year later

So without realizing it, more than a year has passed since my infamous Europe trip in March of 2006. So much changed after returning from that trip. I’ve been looking back thru the nearly 2000 photos I took during the trip and pulling out some of the real gems but the review of all the photos is bring back so many memories.
A year later, am I really happy with how things have gone? Definitely. I’d make all the same choices again in a heartbeat. Nicole is by far the best thing that ever happened to me. She’s an amazing partner, kind, gentile, rational, and amazingly beautiful. Jula, wow, to go from never wanting kids to being ok with kids to actually beign a parent has been a trip. Some days I look at her and think “wow, there’s three of us now!” Watching her grow is really a treat. Literally every single day she grows or learns something new. Also, now that we live in SF I can’t imagine ever living anywhere else. After having lived on it’s fringes for 7 years, I now know that this is indeed *my city*. So yeah, I’m stoked to be where I am now. :-)
Bike ride to the colo
